After a long career in TV production and history documentaries, with my partner, Joan Gallifa, we make a life change. We moved from Barceloa city to the countryside taking advantage of the manor house that has been in the family for many generations. Educated in a long tradition of Mediterranean cuisine, trained at the prestigious Hofmann cooking school I've started a gastronomic leisure project: La Cuina de la Volta or The Volta kitchen. Our house, La Casa de la Volta, for the tunnel that runs though its façade lays in a small medieval village called Salelles. The house is centuries old but with all the comforts. I do culinary workshops complemented with activities and visits to enjoy a day of relaxation. At Casa de la Volta you will learn to prepare catalan traditional dishes and spectacular recipes while you enjoy a day in the countryside and taste wines grown with the soul, at the D.O. Pla de Bages.
